There are a variety of resources available to assist students with paying for college.
| Grants: |
Free money that is offered to students based on demonstrated financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). |
| Loans: |
Funds that the student and/or parent borrow to assist with educational expenses and must be repaid. |
| Work Study: |
A federal program where students earn money while attending school; funds do not have to be repaid. |
| Scholarships: |
Free money that does not require repayment. Often scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit, talent, academics, or financial need. |
| Other: |
These are resources such as Veteran’s Benefits, Tribal Scholarships/Aid, College Savings Plans, etc. |
