2011 Developing Human Capital: Ideas That Make a Difference
On November 17th & 18th more than 260 leaders gathered to examine the relationship between postsecondary education, jobs, and the Arizona economy at Tempe Mission Palms. Engaged in this conference were 21 college & university presidents, 15 school superintendents, 5 legislators, 3 policy makers from the Governor's Office, 43 college access professionals , and 13 presidents & CEO's of companies, agencies, and foundations. This conference was offered by Arizona Commission for Postsecondary Education and through the generosity of 14 sponsors.
The conference began with Dr. Michael Mandelbaum, Christian A. Herter Professor of American Foreign Policy and Director of the American Foreign Policy Program at Johns Hopkins University.
